Some schools run on rolling admissions, where students enroll and graduate at regular intervals, the shortest of which is often a week.

With so many beginnings and endings, it becomes simple for a teacher to lose themself in the rhythm of days, overlooking the profoundness of each arrival and departure.

A Monday, merely the first day of a workweek, is also a the beginning of a venture into the unkown. While a Friday, a welcome prelude to rest for many, is for some a reflection of accomplishments, filled with joy and remembrance.

Normal for you. Special for them.
