Some language schools run on a rolling admissions system, where students enroll and graduate every week.
This can be hard for teachers.
When students come and go so often, it’s easy to get caught up in the regularity and routine of your work. You forget just how important these first and final days are.
Monday is the first day of a work-week. But for new students, it’s often the first step of a grand adventure. Friday, likewise, is the day before the weekend. For graduating students, though, it’s a day of celebration and memories.
It might still be just another day for you. But it’s not for them.
Why not make the most of it, then? It’s more fun that way.
